In Search of Mockingbird
Stars 3.0. Grades . Erin, on the eve of her 16th birthday, decides to run away to Monroeville, Alabama where she hopes to meet Harper Lee. To Kill a Mockingbird is her, and her dead mother's, favorite book. She has a 30 hour bus trip where she meets different people but, in particular, two--Sedushia and Epp, who become her main travel companions. Sedushia is an exotic dancer estranged from her son and Epp is an extremely overweight man who dreams of designing a computer program.
