5 stars. I just happened to read the sequel to this funny, funny book first (She Got Up Off the Couch...) The hilarious, poignant, sweet, and loving look at Zippy, her family, friends and the townsfolk of Mooreland, Indiana (pop. 300 and holding) circa the 1970s.
